Can you even imagine that sweet nature, her bright smile, loving every moment, every gift, every child. You are such an angel. This girl will bless whatever family gets to adopt her.
What I am asking is this: Please share this video on whichever social media. Don’t you think people need to see her, and a family needs to adopt this little one? Just like our Maria, Iris is a hidden treasure, buried away, yet still shining and spreading love.
Do you want to know something funny? Many people have brought kids home that a friend posted on facebook, captured by their sweet faces, and dire situations. I mean, how easy it that? 🙂 Here’s the video link: http://youtu.be/7adxvGgyscw
#TeamIris Update!!!!! Guess how many are in our team now in search of 200? We are up to TWENTY THREE people who have donated $100, she has over $2200 dollars in her adoption fund for life.
Thank you. Amazing. Go #TeamIris!
Please, pray for little Iris. Pray for her adoption fund to grow so big there will be 10 families lined up begging to take her home instead of none, a family to read books to her and let her have a family dog and maybe even a couple pretty dresses and her own backpack for school.
ps. how freaking sweet is that young missionary visiting the kids! I love her, obsessed with how amazing you are! Send us a support letter.
“…because “Mommy” is forever. It’s such a powerful name. Mommy means “I trust you.” Mommy means “you will protect me.” Mommy is for shouting when you need someone dependable and for laughing with when you are excited. Mommy is for crying on and cuddling with when you are sad, or giggling and hiding behind when you are embarrassed. Mommy is the fixer of boo-boos and the mender of broken hearts. Mommy is a comfort place – a safe place. Mommy means “you are mine and I am yours and we are family.”

Oh my goodness this is amazing!!! Will you pleeeeease advocate for her “orphanage brother” who was just transferred once she finds her forever family (Because I know it will not be a matter of if, but when!) Thank you so so so much for all you are doing for her!!!! Her grant has grown so much already!! SO exciting!!! 😀
Hi Amy – I sent you a FB friend request some time ago, hoping to connect with you. The little girl we adopted was from “Iris’s” orphanage. They were good friends, and my daughter in the video above as well. I met Iris, spent time with her, and even have video of her playing with our adoptive daughter and bio daughter (who traveled with us). I would love to share it with you if you are interested!
Oh please request me again, i would love to connect!!
It is amazing to see her fund grow. Thank you for sharing this little girl with the world.
Just donated! We have been following your blog since you brought your kiddos home, and we are about to start the process to be adoptive parents too. Thank you for sharing your heart and your family with the world, and we can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for sweet Iris! What a blessing to get to be part of her story!!
With love, Brandt & Molly
