We can’t wait. Seriously, I mean, there are so many reasons I am counting down the time. I have learned so much from this adoption process that I sometimes think about writing down, and maybe sometime I will.
Andrew and I have been so, so beyond busy with doing things, and at the end of the day, we’re tired, but we’re also so happy. At the end of the night, our feet are sore, but we just lay there smiling, thinking about life, and how good God is. I mean seriously, I really should write some of this stuff down. “We’ll rest when we get to R,” we tell each other, cause you know what, it’s true.
I haven’t really shared much about how we’ve been missing the kids, and honestly, I don’t much think about it, because I think it’s healthy. In times past I think I’ve been able to coast in my faith and in my relationship with God, but since coming home from our friend trip I can’t. I need Him–which seems hard, but it’s good. In the process, I feel like I have been developing so much into the mom I’m going to need to be when I have my 3.
There are the obvious reasons that I can’t wait to go back, which I am not even going to write about, but there are actually just all the fun reasons too. Seriously, like, the most fun reasons I could ever come up with. Do you ever feel like when God tells you to do something, you think it’s going to be so crazy and hard, but then it’s more blessing than you can even imagine? ME too.
For instance,
We can’t wait for the flight, I love Korean air! EEEEEEEEK! Movies, sleeping, amazing food, with my sweetie.
I can’t wait to have a long layover in Korea and my goal is to meet Psy. ( I follow him on IG, so, obviously…)
We can’t wait for our long dinners together for 6 nights straight in our sweet little hotel in the forest, where the sun doesn’t set until late at night.
We can’t wait for the joy each morning waking up together, brewing our tea, and looking forward to seeing our babies–instead of rushing off to work–oops, I wasn’t going to write about that yet.
I can’t wait for taking long walks together after our days which bring more joy than any two humans can fathom, and watching Austrailian TV together with Andrew (Since it’s the only channel in English). We have been so, so busy that it’s like a little slice of heaven. No laundry, no dishes, no driving, no making beds…
I can’t wait for our precious son to spend 6 days being loved and doted on by Patty and Larry, (who have already been such huge helps to us, running errands from states away!) having the time of his life, and even his two cousins who he loves so much are going to come out and visit him. In fact, some of my friends are coming over with his friends to visit.
Life is good.
Anyways, here are a couple moments of life recently.

Hi My name is Jenna
Your kids are beautiful princess handsome prince, cute blessings, special earthly angels, and precious gifts and miracles.
I was born with a rare life threatening disease, developmental delays, and 14 other medical conditions.
Here is a new poem I wrote, it’s called it takes courage:
It Takes courage to love
Like a dove
It takes courage to fight,
It takes courage to do what’s right
It takes courage to stay strong,
When things go wrong
It takes courage to write a song
It takes courage to live
It takes courage to give
It takes courage to fight this beast
It takes courage to be brave
It takes courage to smile and wave
It takes courage to keep positive
Keep on fighting!
It takes courage to win!
