This is a really special family with a huge heart for adoption and orphans. In fact, two of their children are adopted, and their son was the exact age that Elijah will be when he comes home from the same country! How cool is that! Look at these three in such a tender moment.
Their littlest is quite the miracle baby, defying all their odds and what doctors may say.
We had such a fun time taking our photos. I love their example of loving kids, and being a home for orphans in need. Best part? When the two oldest kids knew it was for an adoption, they each brought a dollar and some change of their own money with them to donate to towards bringing home Maria and Elijah.
What amazing little hearts! Beautiful kids, beautiful hearts.

Lovely photos Amy.
An old friends of mine has a son who has just undergone a 2nd reconstructive surgery for his cleft palette. He had surgery as a tiny baby and now at 17 they have operated again to improve things for him as he goes into adulthood. I am waiting for her to share some photos the new Tyler, but she is waiting for more of the swelling to go down – she says it is like looking at a different boy though – but obviously in a good way she says.
Lou 🙂
Oh so sweet! We are so blessed to live in the age of modern medicine! I hope his healing goes smoothly!
Beautiful, Amy!
