Let the extreme nesting begin

A roller and whatever half empty can of paint I have mixed with Finn’s looong afternoon nap, and we have many shades of nesting.

25 minutes

I painted Andrew and my dresser today with Finn’s old wall paint while listening to steel pulse then added stenciling in order to sell it.  (Hey, we got some traveling to do soon! 🙂  But now I wonder if it might fit Maria’s room just right?  We’ll see.

Nesting, and some fun too.

Do you want to read a truly beautiful adoption story that happened this week?

Way to go with the painting!! Loved the adoption story link. Been to China 3 times for 3 different treasures, each time different, some things the same. I so resonated with these photos. I have walked those streets and felt those knots in my tummy, although never in Guangzhou- that is always the second half of our trip, the AFTER THE CHILD COMES part:) Their new daughter is beautiful and obviously treasured. My fav photo was of daddy holding her sleeping with tears running down His face. Just today as I watched my new ALMOST 7 yr old daughter light up at the sound of Chinese on a youtube cartoon video while my youngest, 4 yr old daughter from China gave me a “back massage” my eyes filled with tears..an overflow of my heart and I asked once again, “Why me God? Why me?” No clue why He has entrusted me with such treasures. So thankful! 🙂
