Isn’t she a doll. A real life sweetie angel.
In fact, look what is says about her:
Maya has been waiting such a long time for her family. She is calm and sociable. She loves to dream. She likes playing with older children. She is a wonderful girl. She started first grade in 2009. She is friendly and cheerful. There is something special about her that makes everyone pay attention to her. She is full of love and tenderness. She is a leader by nature.
She is an orphan in ‘Eastern Europe.’ In our country with a family, she would live a long, happy and healthy life, be married and have children of her own. In her country, the statistics say that when she leaves the orphanage at 17 or 18, she will be ill on the streets and die before she is 20! Many girls are kidnapped to a life with an even worse fate… (Watch this video to see)
She is just so special. Too special to not have a family, to have this fate. Sweet girl, she is so special to us.

She is precious!
Just saw you on RR! Congrats to you and your family!!! She’s adorable!
This posting is so sweet. Being myself a orphan from Russia, I know what she is probably going through, poor thing. Thank you for giving her the most important thing that she needs/wants which Love! Kids like us don’t care about how much money our new parents have or how big the house is aslong as we have someone that can love and protect us!
