There is an orphanage in Tijuana called Los Angelitos. Andrew and I used to go with family or friends 2 or 3 times per year. We were the elbow tag kings. Last time we went was when I was six months pregnant, but we haven’t been since Finley was born 🙁
We miss the girls. If Mexico would allow it, we would scoop up a couple of our favorites–hey that’s what car trunks and baby benadryll is for, riiiight? JUST KIDDING!!! Ok, it’s crossed my mind…
Recently when we went it was Miriam’s 12th birthday that we got to celebrate with her. Today I started praying about collecting some items for the kids and doing a quick morning trip with donations before Christmas. Have any kids toys, clothes, shoes or $?
In the meantime, I’m going to get sentimental with these pictures.
|Jose, with the, um, pony tail, is all mine. Sweetest little thing.|
|“Daddy’s girl” Abby. We’ve loved her since she was 3. Andrew especially has a special place in his heart for her. Dumb adoption laws.|
Go donate $10 to them. You’ll feel FANTASTIC!—> www.losangelitos.org
Aw, what sweet faces! Wish adoption was easier…
