The Tiny had grown out of that uncomfortable and bulky plastic baby tub (wished I would have gotten this one for those infant months instead of this one
), but he isn’t quite ready for the full on bath tub with it’s deep walls and hard edges just waiting for a tippy baby, nor am I quite ready to use all the water to fill a full bath tub for such a tiny guy (I have a fear of water wasting, how weird is that?)
So we decided on an inflatable bath tub, and we. love. it. So does our Tiny.
Things I love about it.
-It’s easy to travel with because it deflates flat, perfect for a suitcase.
-He can sit up in it, as opposed to that slanty infant one.
-It has soft edges for when he get’s into an intensely joyful splashing moment and topples over from his sit.
-We can put it on our counter so that we don’t have to hunch into the tub, but when he gets bigger, we can put it in the tub to save water in this smaller tub.
-It has cup holder spots for shampoo, rinse cup, toys, etc.
-The drain is on the bottom so all the water can go right in the sink
-It’s light weight and I can just store it in our guest bathtub for the next time.
-He LOVES being able to sit and splash for SO long without us having to hold him up.
-I love seeing him full of wonder, free to explore the world around him.
Tasting, grabbing, splashing, styling. All good things.
But mostly, just having fun.
We love bath time, and we love our new tub.

I hated our fisher price tub with the slant! I think we only used the infant sling a few times because it was so hard to wash her back. We now have the munchkin inflatable tub in the shape of a duck and Rylin loves it!
That’s awesome…have never seen an inflatable baby bath. Such a great idea.
Ah, the new “bathtub” looks so fun 🙂 I could imagine that little tiny is having that time of his life 🙂 haha
I have never seen this either, but it is so practical! (and relatively affordable!)
I love seeing babies smile, it brightens my day. Thanks for sharing!
