Our lovely friends Samita y Mateo just had themselves a pretty baby girl; Ellie T! (Her real name is Elisabeth Thyme with an ‘S’, a name that Mateo picked when he was 15 years old. A story that Samita always rolls her eyes while telling, but I know she secretly loves it.)
Back to their lovely baby. We had loads of people bringing us hot food when Finley was first born, which in those first few weeks made the difference between eating and not eating for us. (“Wow you look great for just giving birth,” they’d lie as I ignored them loudly ate the food.) So we packed a lil’ bag of that nights DEE-LISH emeal; crockpot Asian pork roast with rice and stir fry veggies, and loaded up into the car to head to flippin’ Irvine or wherever they live. (They don’t live in Irvine, it just feels like it).
We high tailed it over there, and two days later we made it. (jk)
And boy oh boy, it was worth the drive! Look at this face!!
Little angel pie!! She was perfectly sweet and cute.
Finley enjoyed his time with big brother Jack.
Finley wears all of Jack’s old clothes–such a good little sharer.
Welcome to the world Ellie T! You are so sweet and beautiful and we love you SO!

Ahh. Sweet baby face.

But thought I’d let you know, you totally inspired my hubby’s birthday theme this July. 80’s!! He LOVES 80’s music and movies and such, so it’s perfect. Thanks for the idea. 🙂
