Mangos

The other day, I sliced off a section of golden mango and bent the peel back far enough to dismember it from the pulp.  The smell was rich and fragrant as the whirr of the processor sounded.  This sound used to make our tiny nervous, but now he knows what’s on the other end of that sound, and stares with wide eyed anticipation.
I piled the slippery food into a bowl, and brought it over to the tiny.  He is always careful with his first bite.

“I dunno mama…”

“Oh wait!  I TOTALLY LOVE THIS STUFF!!”

“OH YEAH!  Life is good! I love this stuff, just like my papa!”

And our little food adventure goes on.  I am loving making and feeding him food.  I have some funny things to blog about such as the price of making sweet potato food verses buying, and how I tricked him into liking green beans!  I love feeding him healthy, it makes me so happy.

that little man is so sweet! we’re making our food too. do you put your milk in with fruits? it seems to be the only way to get keaton to love eating his veggies, but he seems to be good without it in fruits. just wondering what other mamas are doing!
