I think we are pretty darn lucky. We live next to one of the most beautiful spring events ever. The Carlsbad flower fields! This place is GORGEOUS! They also sell Kettle Corn, have live music and lemonade for exorbitant amount of money. But….we did get the kettle corn. Hey, you only live once, right? Mmmm, so sweet and crunchy.
Ok, back to the flower fields!
There are rows and rows of the most beautiful flowers you have just ever seen. But, unfortunately for the ranunculus, our little Finley stole the show that day!
(LOOK AT THIS LTTLE CORN!! Oh my gosh…too cute…)
(I think Finley just scoped an awesome tractor)
Warning! Towards the end of our day at the Flower Fields, we decided to go into the Sweet Pea Maze…
Just when we though we were near the end, we realized we were no where near the end! Who thought going in a maze would be a good idea? Oh yeah, me. Ok, well we found our way out, and then appreciated how funny that maze was. “We’re free!”
So, if you’re ever in the area, head on over to the flower fields. Bring a chunk of change if you want lemonade, and be wary of that Sweat Pea maze, you may not know what you’re getting yourself into.
But expect a lot of good cuddles if you bring a tiny! What a fun family day!
I love our guy.

Hi Amy! I’m so glad you visited my blog so that I could in turn stalk you in bloggerland and subsequently fall in love with your adorable kiddo, your hilariously candid birth story and your crunchy mama ways. Plus, I think redheads are the bombdiggity – but I’m biased =) Hope to see you again soon!
