Seven years with this good lookin dude as of today.

As the years slip by, time passes and life is lived side by side, the more my eyes see the depths of his goodness.  A good man, my husband.
We met young, got married young, and even though some gave us a hard time (well, 22 isn’t that young) we seriously feel like it was the best moment and decision we ever could have made, eva!
He has taught me so much about life and love, he is the one who will always be there for friends, the one with the heart for the down and out, who has no problems scooping up broken babies, and choosing needy little girls as his own, when most others wouldn’t.  I mean really, wouldn’t, but he would.  Gladly, with joy.
He’s not a man of, We could never,  but of, We must.  Of honor and courage.
Reading words on thin paper, Andrew spreads out love as a husband, a father, a son, brother and friend to everyone he meets.  He gives his shirt of his back, the keys to his car, the food in his pack to the people on the street.
Last night we went to dinner and to see the Wizard of Oz at the open air theater by our house.  Over dinner we asked  the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.  And while we couldn’t come up with lows (we just couldn’t remember), we knew this last year was the highest.
Flying together, like an awesome date, to South Korea, eating Bimbimbap while cracking up to 21 Jump Street, finding our hotel, touring the grandeur of Moscow, long walks along the Sea of Japan–so far away— meeting our children, meeting people who are now considered family, the bliss of raising our little ones together, being brought to our knees in times of need, God’s presence powerfully in return, his guidance, provision–surprising love.
SO GOOD!  All because of you, love you babe.
I love your red hair, your terribly cheesy jokes and your big ol’ heart filled with love and adventure.  Let’s grow old together–but not quite yet 🙂
