Dedication

Putin bans all adoptions to American Families.

We dedicate this video, our adoption video, to all of the children in Russia who will remain orphans as of today. To all of the children who begged us to take them home with us, to the children who cried in our arms and called us ‘mama’ and ‘papa.’ To the babies and big kids who rock and rock their own little bodies to sleep for comfort, who are skin and bones. I so wish we could have given you a family, I so wish there was a family for you, and I so wish that your country could have given you a chance to know how special you are, how wonderfully you were created. And to sweet Kate, I know you’re a big girl now, and that it feels like you’re all alone, but I hope you know more than one family told me they wanted to adopt you, and I so hoped it was going to happen for you–I hope one day you know. This video is for you.

We have been praying for Kate and praying that God will move this mountain (the adoption ban). What a beautiful video.

I just don’t understand why this had to happen. WHY are those babies going to have to suffer their whole lives when there are good people who WANT to bring them home and make them a family? I can’t understand.

Praying for all the children left behind but especially Kate! I have been praying that the leaders hearts will soften and that the rest of the world will “gang” up on the Russians. If nothing else maybe the expense of housing all these kiddos when none are leaving will overwelm the leaders. Whatever it takes Lord, please release these children. Maybe God is allowing a short interuption of adoptions so that my husband will become receptive to us bringing home Kate!

It is heart-breaking, I can relate to how painful this feels to you all as in Australia our adoption laws are near impossible. Principalities and Powers. xx Praying for change!

It really breaks my heart. My husband and I were leaning towards adopting from Russia and we feel awful after hearing this news.

oh no……….no…..how can a country turn its back on its children…it seems just so petty…find another way to prove your point…

Americans aren’t the only ones outraged and heartbroken by this. I have many Russian friends in-country and out who are very upset. We need to keep praying that somehow this law will be overturned.
