Please pray with us as we attend court tomorrow to petition for two tiny angels.  For our friends in CA, it will be 3pm.
9am for us here.
Thank you!

    Amy and Andrew,
Last night as we said our prayers, when we were done I told my children we had an extra prayer to say, for the babies and children with no mommas and for you and your new blessings. I had explained to my kids about the little blankies you gave the babies and the older kids. About how they just wanted comfort of a momma. My 4 older children diligently prayed (the baby babbled a little, I think it counts too). Somehow I believe God hears these prayers a bit louder. I believe with all my heart that your court appointment will go wonderfully. But we will continue to pray! Katrina

LOVE the picture of you and Elijah (and you and Maria, too)–both pictures show them getting the care and attention of a mom, which they so need and deserve! Praying for your court date to go well!

I have had to catch up with your week this evening, as lots has happened here for me this week (a whole new chapter for me to blog about), but reading your posts so far has brought a lump in my throat, tears to my eyes and, made my heart ache with a wish that there was more that I could do. I would love to be in a position to bundle all these children up in my arms and make their world a brighter better place, and it hurts my heart to know that there is very little that I can do.

My thoughts will be with you all, every moment of tomorrow, and I look forward to the day you bring your very special babies home to CA. You know I am not a religious person, but you guys have more good karma than anyone I know and who or whatever rules the roost in this world cannot possibly help but be on your side through all of this.

You are very special people and you have my respect, my admiration and my heart.

    Hugs
    Lou 🙂

Congratulations!!!! I have been following your blog for months now and am so happy for all of you. I know the anger you feel when people question why you want to adopt when it’s not “necessary” and when you are young. I am in the same situation myself being 27 and able to have bio children if I chose to. It is so aggravating when people can’t understand and can get very judgmental. But, all that matters today is that you did it and you now have 3 precious children to worry about. I can’t wait to continue following your story and wish you the best of luck over the next few months.
