Hi

Hi there!

I just wanted to stop in and say hi.  I have had two sweet encouragements on my blog recently, and so I thought I’d sit and write a lil something.  I actually have so many things I want to share with you, so many ideas in my mind, ways to bless children, ways to come together and help, even updates.  I am also working on the post for people who have said, “I would love to adopt one day…”  but just can’t quite publish it yet, i feel like it’s not ready.

Life is going great.  God is protecting our hearts, and we pray multiple times a day that the same is true for our littles oceans away.

I recently talked to a friend who had a really rough birth.  She said the thing that gets her through the hard days is  reading God’s word.  Hearing truth.  I shared with her that I do the same exact thing.  Those words written on that flimsy paper are more to me than they ever have been.  They are healing, they are supporting, they are so, so good to this mama’s heart.  I just want to bury my face in God’s arms, and i feel like he’s letting me.

We have been soaking up summer.  Loving every moment.  It’s finally starting to get hot here, we’ve been missing out on the nation’s heat wave otherwise.  Since we moved away from the coast, we have become such sun snobs.  So yesterday when we knew there would be finally sun at the beach, we went for the first time all summer!

And, now if you were hoping for an overload of cute babies at the beach pics, you came to the right place!

“BEYA!!!!”

Prayer requests:
If you’re the praying type, or even if you’re not, please–

-Please pray for a needed piece of paper for our baby girl.
-Please pray that we go back in AUGUST to have court.  AUGUST!  AUGUST!!!
-Pray that our children are comforted and held close.  Pray for their hearts, minds and souls as they are away.
Please don’t waste one prayer on us.  We are more than fine, a temporary hurt and longing are so nothing, so worth is, so good in the pain.  Please pray for Maria and Elijah, and for one word….AUGUST.  We need that piece of paper.  It’s out of our hands.

Oh, and thank you to one amazing blog reader who sent us a heavy duty PENCIL SHARPENER that is not electric so no fuss with the different outlets.  It’s pretty amazing.  Just think how one small thing will mean so much for all those kids!

Not one day goes by that we don’t stop and feel beyond grateful and humbled by how many people have helped us reach our children.  How do you thank someone for that?  It’s nothing we could have done alone.  Thank you.

Oh good, I am so glad it got there! I needed some good news right now, so this was timely.

I’m keeping your whole family in my thoughts and prayers.
