Closer and closer

Yesterday I was feeling like I just wanted Maya to be DONE with orphanage life, and home with our family already…

Soon enough, I suppose.  In fact, this is beyond nerdy, but I was listening to a Taylor Swift song in the car and started getting emotional thinking about it…  Don’t hate, T. Swift is good!

In other news!  I am posting another joyful, happy picture of Finley beacause….

Someone donated $32 to helping us bring Maya home.  Each time someone donates, it’s like a huge weight is lifted off our shoulders.  Don’t get me wrong, we have surrendered out finances to the Lord before we committed to Maya.  We had to, but there are always those moments…

But life is short, and what is more important than people?

 Nothing.

When we give our account to the Lord, what will we have been seeking after with all our resources?

Thank you to whomever donated.  We appriciate you more than we can say.  $32; you realize that could have been at least one ticket to those fancy new theaters, or a sushi dinner maybe?  At least a pizza at BJs, but instead you sewed seeds into the life of an orphan.

Thank YOU!

I will tell you once again that I think you guys are truly wonderful in adopting Maya, and I hope that my donation (made today) helps bring the day you guys can bring her home just a little bit closer.

You are a wonderfully special family
