Recently, our family came in to San Diego and visited us. What a treat! Ashley and Adam brought their two girls, Finley’s cousins, from AZ.
The Tiny was pretty sure he’d died and gone to heaven. One cool kid to talk to, and a baby about his size. But as the minutes went on, it was clear that Finley and Charlee we’re going to be BFF’s, and Andee thought she may just rather not play with Finley. Not that I blame her, he can be pretty noisy!
The girls got sand toys and got to go to the beach for the very first time.
“Here Finley, you sit in dere, and then I will fill it up so it’s your jacuzzi!” Charlee is a good instructor, and Finley loved listening to Charlee. You’ll see why he’ll do anything she says in a moment.
|“Hey Finley, I love you, but let me teach you something called personal space.” -Andee|
Back at home, The Tiny got some auntie love from his pretty auntie Ashley.
Aha! Now you see the cord of love entwining these two cousins. Food. Charlee feeds the boy, and, well, the boy loves anyone giving him food.
|“Ok, ok, I’ll share this toy with you!”|
Right before everyone left, we went to Rimel’s and the park.
Making Finley fall more in love with his sweet cousin. She’s actually neater at feeding him than I am.
We found a fun instrument outside of Whole Foods.
And someone roasting fresh peppers! mmmm!
We’ll miss you cuzzies! Next time, we’ll come out and visit YOU! xoxooxoxoxoxoxoxo

What a great family date!!! It seriously melts my heart when my girl spends time with her cousins. i didn’t really get to grow up with cousins so that was a big hope of mine for my little one. It’s so fun isn’t it?
